Who We Are
Albria is made by Graham Alembic LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "us"). This policy covers Albria for Mac, Albria for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch (including the iPad app on Apple Vision Pro), and this website. Albria is not made by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Anthropic, OpenAI, or Apple.
The Short Version
- Albria has no account with us. There's nothing to sign up for.
- Your projects, conversations, files and Health data stay on your devices, in your own iCloud, and with the AI provider you chose.
- We don't sell data, show ads, use analytics, or track you across apps or websites.
- A short list of things does reach servers we run or rent. Every one is listed below.
What Reaches Us
- Bug reports and feedback you send. When you use Report a Bug in the app or the feedback form on this site, we receive what you wrote, its type (bug, idea or question), and your email address if you choose to give one. A report sent from the app also carries the app version. It goes to our feedback service at albria.ai, which runs on Cloudflare and files it as an issue in a private GitHub repository that only we can read. We use it to fix Albria and to reply to you.
- Hang reports. If the iPhone, iPad or Mac app freezes, it sends a technical report through the same service: the app version and build, the operating-system version, the device model, how long the app was stuck, and the list of code functions that were running (with folder names from your home directory removed). It contains none of your content and no identifier for you or your device. The app sends at most three a day, and only the same freeze once a week. You can turn these off in Settings › Send freeze reports.
- Email to us. Mail you send to an @albria.ai address passes through Cloudflare Email Routing to our company mailbox. Email to [email protected] is read by our AI support assistant, which uses Anthropic's API to draft or send a reply. A person on our team reviews anything sensitive, such as refunds, legal questions, or a message from someone in distress, before it's answered. Anthropic handles that mail under its commercial terms.
- This website. It is served by Cloudflare Pages, and Mac downloads come from Cloudflare storage. Your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts. There are no cookies, no analytics, and no tracking scripts.
Cloudflare's handling is covered by its privacy policy, and GitHub's by its privacy statement.
What Stays With You
- Your Mac does the work. The iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch apps talk to Albria on your own Mac, over the private connection set up when you pair them. Chats, briefs and files travel between your devices, not through us.
- Apple Health. With your permission, the iPhone app reads heart rate, heart-rate variability, resting heart rate, respiratory rate, blood oxygen, body temperature, steps, active energy, weight, sleep and workouts, and can save heart-rate and workout sessions you record. Health data from the iPhone is sent only to your own paired Mac. It never comes to us, and it is never used for advertising or sold. Health data is never sent to an AI provider.
- iCloud. Albria keeps some records in your own private iCloud database so your devices stay in step. We can't read it.
- Notifications. Your iPhone's notification address is sent only to your own Mac, so your Mac can notify you.
- Purchases. Apple handles Albria Plus payments. We never see your payment details, and the app checks your subscription on your device.
- Voice. Dictation uses Apple's speech recognition, on the device where possible, under Apple's privacy policy.
Your AI Provider
Albria thinks through your own Claude or Codex subscription, using Claude Code or Codex on your Mac. What you ask, and the context Albria includes to answer it, goes from your Mac to that provider under your account and its privacy policy. Albria doesn't proxy, store or resell that traffic, and we don't sell AI. Albria asks before it first sends anything to a provider.
- Anthropic (Claude) — Privacy Policy
- OpenAI (Codex) — Privacy Policy
If you choose to add your own key for another service in Settings (for example, a voice service), what you send it goes straight from your device to that service, under its terms. Keys are kept in your device's Keychain.
What We Don't Do
No advertising. No analytics or crash-reporting companies. No advertising identifier. No tracking across other companies' apps or websites. No selling or renting of data, and no data brokers.
Keeping and Deleting
Deleting the apps removes what they keep on your devices; data in your own iCloud can be removed in your iCloud settings. Bug reports and hang reports are kept while they help us fix Albria. To see or delete anything you sent us — a bug report or an email — write to [email protected]. Since there's no account, tell us roughly when you sent it and what it said, so we can find it. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights over your data; we honor them for everyone.
Children
Albria is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to This Policy
We'll post any change here with a new date, and say so in the app if the change is significant.
